Currently on a global assignment to Seoul, South Korea, Liz’s responsibilities include initiating and managing equity investments to drive business innovation and deliver new and sustainable business for the Consumer Health and Pharmaceuticals sectors. This includes sourcing, analyzing, evaluating, aligning, managing, exiting, and on-boarding investments in target companies.
Previously, Liz was a key member of the Transactions team at Johnson & Johnson’s Asia Pacific Innovation Center, where she led various collaboration deals in the region aligned with global and regional priorities for J&J’s three key business sectors, as well as for cross-sector initiatives such as the Lung Cancer Institute. Liz joined J&J Innovation at the California Innovation Center and has been a strong contributor to the Consumer Health external innovation efforts, combining her technical expertise and commercial insights to source, evaluate, advance and execute opportunities for the Skin Health and Self Care franchises.
Prior to Johnson & Johnson, Liz held positions of increasing responsibility at L’Oréal, including Associate Principal Scientist at L’Oréal Research & Innovation. Prior to L’Oréal, Liz completed her Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Institute of Bioengineering and Nanotechnology, a member of A*STAR’s biomedical sciences institutes in Singapore.
Liz earned her B.S. in Bioengineering from University of California, Berkeley, and her M.S. and Ph.D. in Bioengineering from University of California, San Diego.
