VP, Business Development and Licensing, Global Public Health

Haresh Mirchandani is Vice President, Business Development and Licensing, Global Public Health for Johnson & Johnson Innovation, Janssen Business Development. In this role, Haresh leads the development and implementation of the Global Public Health business development and licensing strategy, dedicated to improving the health of the world’s most vulnerable and underserved populations. This includes responsibility for negotiating agreements and managing alliances with industry peers, non-governmental organizations, governments, and other Global Public Health (GPH) stakeholders and partners. His team has completed multiple deals in this space, including agreements in HIV, tuberculosis, anti-microbial resistance and post-partum hemorrhage, and evaluations in surgery and integrated technologies.

Prior to this role, Haresh held positions of increasing responsibility in pharmaceuticals and consumer healthcare in roles spanning business development, commercial, and research and development.

Haresh joined Johnson & Johnson in 2004. As Director, Strategic Business Analytics in the Global Commercial Strategy Organization, he led global forecasting to facilitate portfolio decisions and business development opportunities. He began his career in New Product Research at SmithKline Beecham Consumer Healthcare in 1995.

Haresh received his B.Pharm. from University of Bombay, Ph.D. from Rutgers University, and MBA from Columbia University.
