Manager, External Innovation
Justin Feng is Manager of External Innovation at the Johnson & Johnson Innovation, Boston. In this role on the transactions team, he supports both the pharmaceutical and consumer sectors with a focus on the Immunology, Oncology, and Cardiovascular and Metabolism therapeutic areas. Justin is responsible for competitive landscaping, diligence, and contracting to support the development of strategic partnerships. Prior to joining Johnson & Johnson Innovation, he was a Principal Scientist at GRO Biosciences, where he led projects to develop enhanced protein therapeutics and enzymes using non-standard amino acids. Justin received his undergraduate degree in Bioengineering at University of California, Berkeley, and received his Ph.D. in biology from Harvard Medical School where he developed synthetic biology tools to engineer cells to sense and respond to chemical inputs in the lab of George Church.
