Megan Moore is an R&D engineer at CDI@TMC. In this role, she is responsible for ideating new technologies, rapidly iterating prototypes, refining designs through analysis and testing, and ultimately, together with the CDI team, providing new medical devices to change the landscape of healthcare around the world.
Before joining the CDI team, Megan worked as an independent design engineering consultant, providing the technical know-how for startups and entrepreneurs, in a wide range of industries, to bring their ideas to market.
She provided technical expertise on early stage product design, including functional and aesthetic design, computer modeling and analysis, product optimization and design for manufacturing, and prototyping. Prior to this, Megan worked as a project engineer for Shell International Exploration and Production, where she managed design, cost, quality, and timeline for large scale projects from early concept to fabrication to offshore installation. She served as a technical authority for the design and analysis of deep-water riser technologies.
Megan has a BSE and MSE in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan and is a licensed professional engineer in the state of Texas.
