Nicolò Garbin is a team member of Medical Merge embedded in CDI for engineering support on internal projects and translation to contract manufacturing.
Prior to this role, Nicolò was a Project Lead at Medical Merge, a medical device consulting firm that works with clinicians, startups, and hospitals to quickly iterate on their ideas, inventions, and projects. Nicolò has worked on a variety of catheter-based devices and has a strong background in endoscopic and magnetic actuation of medical devices. During his graduate studies, Nicolò went through the NSF Innovation Corps (I-Corps) Site program for a revolutionary disposable endoscopic device that he and his PhD advisors are moving forward towards first-in-human trials.
Nicolò received a PhD in Mechanical Engineering at Vanderbilt University, and a Master's and Bachelor's in Biomedical Engineering from Politecnico di Milano.
